PROFESSIONAL: 2009: Hampton played in seven games with the Peoria Pirates of the af2 where he recorded 29 total tackles, five interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns, six pass breakups and two forced fumbles. 2008: He spent time with the Boise Burn of af2. 2007: Hampton spent time with the Oakland Raiders of the NFL.

COLLEGE: In his senior season, Hampton played in all 13 games with 10 starts at cornerback. He ranked sixth on the team with 54 tackles and third with five pass break-ups and opened the season with a personal-best 11 tackles and a pass breakup against Tennessee. In 2006, he ranked fourth on the team with 63 total tackles in addition to two interceptions. In his freshman and sophomore seasons he tallied 17 total tackles.

PERSONAL: Hampton’s favorite show is Desperate Housewives and least favorite food is mayonnaise. On an off day, he enjoys spending time with his family. Hampton’s greatest moment in sports was being invited to the Oakland Raiders training camp.
