UTAH BLAZE MAKE THREE ROSTER ADDITIONS
SALT LAKE CITY Utah Blaze head coach Ernesto Purnsley announced the signings of three more players to the Blaze roster. Additions include DL Seante Williams, WR Chris Francies, and DL Frank Harry Jr.
Williams (6-foot-5, 255 pounds), who spent his collegiate career at Jacksonville State, most recently played professionally with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.
Prior to the CFL, he spent time with the 2007 World Bowl Champion Hamburg Sea Dogs of NFL Europe. He was also a member of the Frankfurt Galaxy where he tallied 25 tackles, five sacks and two interceptions. Williams also spent time with the Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL in addition to two games with the Colorado Crush of the Arena Football League.
Harry (6-3, 300) finished his college career at Southern University where he had 37 tackles (11 for loss) and three sacks. He was a member of the Pearl River Community College team that won the 2004 National Championship.
Francies (6-2, 190) was a standout wide receiver for the UTEP Miners. In three seasons in El Paso, Francies recorded 128 catches for 2,022 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was named the teams offensive MVP as a junior. That year he was a Western Athletic Conference Honorable Mention selection. One year later, he was a member of the Conference-USA Third Team.
In 2006, Francies was an undrafted free agent with the Green Bay Packers. He also spent time with the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers of the NFL.
