UTAH BLAZE TO HOLD SECOND OPEN TRYOUT
SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Blaze will hold their second open tryout on Saturday, February 27, 2010, from 7-11 p.m. at the Spence Eccles Fieldhouse located at 650 South Guardsman Way on the campus of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Check-in and registration begin at 7 p.m. and the tryout will begin promptly at 8 p.m.
Pre-registration is available now by calling 801-331-7096 ext. 1. Pre-registration cost is $50 (credit card only) or $65 (cash only) for day-of-event registration. A discount is available for those who participated in the first open tryout on Jan. 30 at BYU.
All positions will be evaluated in running and agility drills (40-yard dash, short shuttle and broad jump) on the ProTurf surface. Players are responsible to bring appropriate shoes and workout gear. No pads or helmets are required.
All participants must sign a waiver prior to the tryout.
